I have carte blanche with respect to buying cars as long as I get two keys. My wife wasn't thrilled when she came home and saw two lifts in the garage because they took up space (and we have a warehouse close by) but she has warmed up since she doesn't have to drive across town now to find a fun car. She spends more time in suvs with car seats today, but more of the cars in my signature are actually "hers" vs "mine". She loves DE events, etc. but no interest in full on racing. She just thinks rennlist is stupid...

I am very lucky to have a very supportive wife when it comes to cars. She enjoys riding in the GT3, but isn't quite tall enough to drive it. We solved the problem last summery by getting a 964 for her.

She travels with me to the track and helps with the car. She says "I am your crew" as she changes the tires.

My favorite moment came when I had to change the starter motor in the GT3. I asked her to hold a mirror as I couldn't get my hand in the tight spot to thread the bolts. The car was on jack stands and the angles were tough on my back. After complete failure, she jumped in and got the bolts threaded. I asked what I could do to help. She said "just lay there and look pretty".

My wife doesn't understand it, but doesn't care, and my girlfriend is a cleaning lady at Porsche and won't tell me what she thinks.

Good thread Bronson.
This thread makes me miss wife. She is in Botswana doing good things (like always), I am sitting on the couch watching VEL and surfing RL.
Been married for 26 years to the only girl I cared about. Ruined her by teaching her about cars, and now she owns 2 Cayenne GTS's and prefers the '10 since it has a V8 versus the '17 with the turbolag.

She is happy for me doing what makes me tick and always supportive. If I ever want to buy anything, she always says tells me to go for it...

We did have one incident in 2004 when I wrecked my 6GT2 with her in the car, and later some dumb a$$ PCA guy told her about the widowmaker...

My wife doesn't really understand why we need 7 cars.
But, it's really practical for her when I'm away on business trips.
She drives them until they run out of fuel and then move on to next one.
I spend a lot of time washing and filling up cars.

I think my Wife is happy some one will listen to my car passions and I will leave her alone . It was funny because last week we had an unplanned date night and after we ordered wine my Wife says-"lets not talk about cars"- we both started laughing because she started talking about her job which I always bust her about.
In the end, my Wife would rather me chase my car passions than other Women. She probably figures that my Toys will remind me of what she can take away - they are all crazy
