I can't imagine it would be a big deal. I think you'll be fine

I have a neighbor with a Carmine GTS with steel brakes and to my eye there is no clash.

If you think the match is off once you see the car in person, it is common to have brake calipers repainted whatever color you like, perhaps black.

Saw one a while back in dealer showroom and it was gorgeous. Although the red may be slightly different, does not clash at all IMO and would be difficult to notice.

****ing Porsche could solve so many customer's problems by offering red, black or yellow paint options on steel and ceramic brakes. We can get our air vents painted lava orange but brake calipers too much to ask... I truly believe they do things (or don't do things) sometimes just to annoy people.

I love Carmine and Guards Red, but not together. Personally, I think it clashes. If I went Carmine + Steel, I would paint the calipers. Have spent more to get less on my toys! Would probably go black.

Works fine. Seen it. My V70 is Carmine/Red belts/and more. No problem. Saw my buddy's Carmine Cayman and it works.

I think Carmine red goes best with PCCBs and black wheels. That's what I have on my GT4 and that's what I'm planning foe my GT3.2
