This forum is so eerily quiet when great reviews are posted. It's a tough/masochistic crowd we have here, I suppose.

I, for one, am simply ecstatic about the future arrival of my 991 GT3 The car sounds better with each write up.

Couldn't agree more. Bring it on......

the test says that the cups are poor in the rain (we know that) and that others can be specced? to my knowledge it is only michelin cups and dunlop cups or did i miss something?

This review doesn't change my ambivalence about the car or my indecisiveness about whether to get one (I'm still #3 on my dealer's list and have put down a deposit). While it handily won this comparison and is no doubt a great car, it's both better and worse than the 997 GT3 in various ways, and overall possibly less enjoyable to drive than the 997 GT3 for drivers who prefer more rawness and connection to the car.

I might get it but will call it the Wife's car. It seems anyone can drive it fast now. I might borrow it for the track though.

It's clearly an amazing car, at least as good as cars costing twice as much. Of course, so is the Cayman at half the price. Two of the drivers even ranked the Cayman ahead of the GT3.

I guess I'll find out Q2 of 2014.

I am also, but the wait is painful at best. I'm in the middle of a garage addition, so that is taking up most of my time right now.
