Magnesium would be cost prohibitive additionally magnesium has a life cycle and is only good for so long.

Most manufactures are switching from magnesium to a alu/mag blend when making race wheels. ( BBS Motorsport etc)

The reason im asking is because I would like to justify switching to an aftermarket wheel from the factory wheels which are beautiful to begin with, so the weight savings have to be as big as possible.

so would an aluminum/magnesium blend be any feasible?

Our wheels are forged aluminum and a considerable weight savings over the stock wheels that porsche makes

Alu/Mag would not be feasible in a small production run. Sorry about that.

Feel free to email us directly if you would like more info on our wheels.
