I prefer your version as I have an order in the system with an April lock, May build, June delivery and would prefer a 2015 at this point.

Ryan
one possibility all cars built (14's) get extended warranty 6year with new motor
all cars yet to roll off the line are 15's

I have an April build not yet locked June 13th arrive Brunswick

Go to www.porsche.com and select a country other than the US and then build the car of your choice.

Looks like New Zealand also has the new options, now Germany also.

Appears they are rolling out the configurator update across the globe tonight. Note that it also affected the rest of the 991 cars as well, this is not confined to GT3s.

Went back and checked, the 2014 GT3 configurator went live 5 March 2013. So it looks like normal preparation for the next model year.

Continues to be disappointing that no sport buckets have appeared for US cars.

The Porsche Track Precision app allows detailed viewing, recording and analysis of driving data on the smartphone. Lap times manually via the control lever of the Sport Chrono function - automatically via GPS - or more precisely stopped with the optionally available laptrigger from Porsche Tequipment and compared on the smartphone......

Auto trigger sounds great!

If I was Porsche I wouldn't be advertising new features on a new GT3 model yr knowing there are customers that haven't paid for their 2014 GT3 as well as having to go through a engine swap. Marketing at its worse.

So a built-in Aim Solo DL... for 2.5 times the price. I wonder if the data can be exported....?

Now I'm glad my order isn't locked until 28 Mar.
May have to change it again and push it back another month or so.

Although it seems some of the option prices have increased.
I wonder if it says 'priceless' next to the fire extinguisher?

A super expensive dummied down data logger, no thanks. But the other options sound good. I'm sure there will be additional options ahead and have been held back due to the current situation. Buckets plleeeeaaase!

Hope they've dropped the PSCE (Porsche Spontaneous Combusting Engine) feature for MY15... We just want track cars, not barbeques thanks Mr Porsche!

Complete translation:

With the newly developed Porsche Track Precision App lap times can also automatically stopped via GPS and many driving data ( such as: speed, steering angle , braking and acceleration performance , gear and engine speed ) recorded on the smartphone, managed and shared with other drivers and compared be .

In circuit racing use, the driving dynamics are visualized and also deviations from a reference lap displayed next to the sector and lap times on the smartphone. The app makes use of highly precise vehicle data from a control unit in the vehicle.

Graphical analysis of travel data , and video analysis help drivers to improve their driving performance even further . Round after round. Always a bit closer to the border area.
Looks pretty sweet!
