I'll send PM sent Macca.
Doing track days May - August in California.
Kiwiland the month of December, planning to rent a car from Queensland to Auckland.
I want to know where to go, maybe there is something reasonably fun for rent.
Ticket booked to Adelaide, but still flexible for NZ :thumbup;

It does not look like there have been any more changes to the 991 GT3 configurator for the USA since March. Do you think that means that the current configurator is essentially what we are going to get for MY 2015 cars? Or, will there be more changes soon (i.e. before 2015 production starts)? Also, has anyone got good information as to when exactly the 2015 models will start production?

Looks like the 2015's will start production in September and start arriving at the dealerships in November. Mine is supposed to be at the dealership November 21st.

Have you locked your order? Any changes in prices or options available over and above what is seen on the online configurator?

My vehicle "fixed" date is September 12th, so I still have plenty of time to make changes if I want to. As far as the configurator goes, I have not seen anything new on it since it started showing 2015 models a couple of months ago.

If that is what happens, it's very unusual. The start of MY2015 991's is June of 2014. That is literally next week! I find it strange that MY2015 gt3's (for ROW European or Middle East customers, for example) would not start production until September. But everything regarding the 991 gt3 has been, to date, rather 'unusual'!

My guess is that Eduardo is right and that it would be unusual for Porsche to make further changes to the configurator/cars for 2015. From my own selfish perspective as a 2014 owner, this is good news as the only feature differences AFAIK are the very expensive upgrade to the Sport Chrono and the addition of Ice Metallic to the color choices.

Start of MY2015 991 gt3 production...
If they start producing in June then I would expect we would see 2015 GT3's at dealers in August. So far, no "C" listers have posted that they will receive their cars in August. Perhaps Porsche is delaying production a couple of months on the GT3's to give the 2014 owners a chance to drive their cars before the 2015's arrive. Just speculating of course, but sounds reasonable.
For PAG to intentionally delay production & deliveries of MY2015 gt3's into the Fall of 2014 so as to not further upset their already pissed-off MY2014 gt3 customers makes NO SENSE at all! If these delays continue, both for the engine installs on MY2014's and new production of MY2015's, Porsche will force their 991 gt3 customers to essentially 'write-off' the entire track calendar year of 2014...that is unconscionable for a sport car company with a legion of track enthusiasts that depend on Porsches for their hobby. That is the reason these customers ordered these expensive cars and they have a right to be very disappointed with these additional delays...assuming the engines problem have been already corrected! So why the delays now?
And these delays in MY2015 gt3 production, if indeed they are to start in September of 2014, also go against the grain of their 'just-in-time' logistics scheduling which is arranged months in advance so that each vehicle has the parts necessary to successfully complete its build. Did PAG ever planned to build MY2015 gt3's at all (before the stop sale)? Where orders ever taken (by PAG) & production scheduled (by PAG) for June, July & August of 2014 before the stop sale? If not, why not?
Something else is at work here that is responsible for these MY2015 991 gt3 delays. We will find out exactly what in due course. But I am concerned that it involves something 'technical' and they are still worried about 'reliability'.
