Prorate the payments that you paid per the time parked, subtract from total before taxes and other subsequents. Then refund the entire amount! Then add on top of that a four year PCNA extended warranty claimable at any Porsche dealership or certified shop.
What litigation options are there. Can you guys class action in US or does the engine replacement take care of that and void it?

Porsche will replace the engines in 785 high-performance sports cars because of a risk that the current engines could catch fire. The move was made in response to two engine fires in Porsche 911 GT3s.
The GT3 is a track-oriented two-seat version of the 911 sports car. Prices for the car start at $130,000. It can go from zero to 60 miles per hour in just 3.3 seconds, with a top speed of 195 miles per hour.
The decision to replace the engines was made after Porsche engineers investigated two engine fires that occurred in Europe. Neither fire caused an accident or any injuries. Porsche had already warned owners last month to stop driving the cars and to have them picked up and taken to a Porsche dealer.
Engineers discovered that the fires were caused by a loose rod inside the engine. The loose rod caused damage that then allowed lubricating oil to leak out and ignite.
The 785 cars that will have their engines changed include 408 in the United States. The move doesn't involve any other Porsche models beyond the 911 GT3. Porsche is part of the Volkswagen Group

I'd like to see the Porsche new car 50k/4yr warranty become a 100k/5yr or 100k/6yr for all 2014s. 100k/6yr would bolster confidence for current owners, allow those of us who desire to keep the car long term, and aid in protecting residuals.

And I'd definitely trade miles for time...even if it was a 50k warranty for 6 years...I would definitely also love to be able to get a car at invoice or within 1000 of invoice in the future too. That keeps you going to Porsche and they know it would be used. I'd probably just apply that to my mom's current C4S upgrade (even though I have a deposit for the 960...but that's asking for A LOT more money).

Assuming you want to keep it:
1. CPO equivalent extension to 6yr/100k, transferable to any future buyers. This is to bolster the manufacturer credibility that was lost when the brand new car they sold you manifested a fatal flaw in the first two months of ownership.
2. Cash for loss of use, equivalent to lease payments for the time out of service.

You guys are really too nice. Been asked for a deposit requirement imperiously with 8 months delivery,
then 6 months delayed without any explain, then paid for a car cant drive, then going to replace your "engine" with several months extra waiting?
I asked them the compensation:
1. A loaner vehicle(must be Porsche current models) or a $200/day transport fee until 2014 GT3 fixed and returned, or reorder 2015 GT3 delivered.
2. At least 30% discount from MSRP refund to clients who accept engine replacement 2014 GT3.
3. $10K free option to clients who ordered 2014 GT3 and prefer to cancel it and reorder 2015 GT3.
4. $20K free option to 2014 GT3 current owners if they prefer to reorder 2015 GT3.
5. An official apologize letter post on Porsche website.
A engine replaced car is not a "new" car and you will feel the pain when reselling it.
Time is priceless, I doubt they already found "something" in early production in 2013 summer and it caused the first 4 months delay.
