Default Are you on "the list"? Gather here

As we further divide ourselves from gt3 buyers to those have taken delivery vs not taken delivery, porsche has now separated the 2014 builds even further into 2014 buyers and 2015 buyers.

If you've confirmed your build has been pushed into a 2015 model year and you were previously scheduled for a 2014' I'm just wondering how many are out there.

Ultimately depending on upcoming communications from porsche this may be a good way for us to send a joint email or communication back to porsche.

Not sure what the group on the "list" i.e. moved from 2014 to 2015 and your car has not been built yet have to complain about if you get money from the expected date of delivery to the date you actually get your car.

My understanding is the 2015's will role of the line as soon as the remaining cars that are in production are finished. Let's assume the remaining cars finish up in May and are all 2014's those that finish starting June 1st will be 2015's. This group (2015) is the real winner. Congrats. Everyone else who will have a 2014 for United States purposes will have a one year old car. This is the group that is hurt the most.

Example: You go to your dealer and he says I have good news and great news:

We have a brand new 2014 GT3 for sale and we have a brand new 2015 GT3 for sale. Both have the same MSRP. Who much less would you pay for the 2014? Ie it's "last years" production run. Look at how many 2013's are on the lot and would you pay MSRP while the 2014's are on the floor? I think not.

Agreed if it turns out to be true that a 15 rolls off after a 14. We'll see but that would definitely put us in a good spot.

Based on porsche na conversations about our orders being unlocked and we will be starting over doesn't lead me to believe it will be continuous.

No complaining, just parsing out the threads so those of us in a different place in line than you guys can better consolidate our findings.

My question is I'm #2 at my dealership for an RS and next on the list for the GT3. Do I wait for the RS at this point or will the RS be delayed far enough that the GT3 will be worth getting?

Default checking in:

Last night called 800-767-7243 PCNA ,I had already been told last week by
my SA that my build would be a 15, the very pleasant Gal whom answered the phone confirmed that information after lengthy polite persistence on by be haft . She, Pearl, is in the Porsche office in Ma. outside of Beantown ,
stated problem had been identified and engineers were working, testing the
the fix. She didn't have any info on build schedule .
Those folks are in a tough spot, I tried to get her off script without much
success, I thank her for her patience for listening to my saga .
She provided my "case Number" confirmed my contact info.
Originally my build completion schedule was V300 on 4/25 , I bet the 14's
get the 6year warranty ,

Congrats R. Deacon
That means we can expect 2015s arriving in the US sometimes in July.

Green,
I wasn't given any info on build schedule , what I posted was my original build schedule , which went into the system the beginning of the month during the stop sale , sure is difficult to make any
sense out of these logical Germans

....and if I take a 14 a month before that what a bummer. Warranty warranty warranty even the Porsche CEO talks about holding off on RS until "they know" the gt3 fix is successful....what is that?!

Please if you are a not on the list and getting a 14 please post so we know who you are.

I am on the 2015 list. I agree with all the comments above. I do not know if they would start building 2015s immediately, but it would sure be nice if they did. I think they would like to if they could.
It may come down to regulations and approvals necessary to start on MY2015. I just want a car sooner that's all. They won't listen to me or our group effort though. It will be when they are ready. Hopefully it will be continuous if allowed.
The 2014 new arrivals that are getting finished first should have some give back on them. It would suck for those who get those to get nothing. I do know that my 2015 configuration went up by +$2000 because of option price increases. Hopefully we can all put updated information that we hear on this thread to keep all of us informed. My dealer has been no help.

I was just thinking we post our findings here to see if its different than what the guys that are in production are getting. The threads have become so long its hard to figure out "wait this guy is getting a loaner? Should I be getting a loaner?"

And when they roll out the comp package to see whether it distinguishes between those with completed or in production vs us that are pre production.

I just say wait for the RS and take the money you save from not getting a regular 3 and put that into penny stocks and a high risk portfolio.

According to my dealer I am at V170, PAG Handling Necessary and my build will be moved to MY2015.

2/7 V200 with delivery date of 6/27
3/17 V200 with delivery date of 7/14
3/20 V170 no delivery date

I have inquired about the price increase, my dealer believes that Porsche or the dealership will adsorb the difference (for same options).

Mine has been moved to a MY 2015, my original lock date March 11. I have been told by PCNA that delivery will be later then June but before September... They just don't know yet.
