I will probably not take the car and will request a 2015 swap.
My build complete date was also 3/21. If I receive same fate, I will not accept the car. Makes no sense. Extremely disappointing.

Here. Was due March. Then bumped to April now May. Was told it's sitting built but waiting for a motor. I have a 5K markup from oct. No way I'm taking this now ya or over sticker due to the BS, delays and mostly my for a tainted 2014 perception leading to an insanely low resale value compared to other years.....

I'm seeing by the posts that folks with a 2014 delayed and those that have a 2014 now moved to 2015 (my current situation) are getting quoted similar delivery dates (October). I understand that once a 2014 VIN is issued that car has to be completed as a 2014. Is Porsche looking at completing 2014 and the moved 2015 cars off the same assembly line at the same time? Confusing?

Are ANY vin-assigned and delayed 2014's being delivered before September-Ocbober? My original delivery date was May 16'th, I have a VIN #, am stuck at 'V260' and my dealer is quoting delivery by the 'end of May'. Is THAT even possible? Are ANY of these delayed production 2014's coming before Summer???

My car is a 2014 with a 2014 VIN (10th digit is an "e"). I am scheduled to come off the line with my engine on August 29 now (was March 21). It is highly likely that the first 2015 will roll off the line just a few days later on September 1. So yes, they will be produced almost at the same time, and will clearly be on the same boat. Difference? My car will be 1 year older! **** That! It is all very arbitrary and inequitable as if given the choice, I would have signed up for the 2015 a couple days later.

I believe that if your car started production, you are a 2014. If it did not, you are a 2015. V260 is entry to the body shop, V270 is exit production, and V300 is vehicle completion.

My 2014 exited production without an engine and never was completed. I am still V270 with V300 scheduled for August 29. I guess they just rolled my car outside to store it without an engine and it will sit there for 5 months?

As of last week mine was to be at the dealer early June as a 2014. It has a Vin.

I have a message in to my dealer to see if there has been another change.

From my perspective if the car arrives in September they can keep it. It would go to storage in less than 2 months. Why would anybody shell money out for a one year old car that arrives in the fall and then goes to storage?

If this is the case and limited compensation, the last time I will ever walk into a Porsche dealership is to get my deposit back.

The lack of transparency as gone on too long. By end of week no word Tim Qiunn gets another letter from me.

I encourage you to send an email to him. He returned mine in 24 hours and promised this upcoming week there would be news. I am not so sure.

Tim, the clock is ticking along with Porsches reputation or is it VW?

That would make your halt production date to restart/ completion date just 2 months?

For me, I am looking at 5 months! I hope your dealer is right, but I fear they are not. Did you ask for the current production schedule printout for your car?

And MINE, with 2014 VIN, and stuck at v260, originally to arrive May 16'th will now 'be here by the end of May."
Today, I called PCNA and asked all the usual questions. They gave me a case number, and replied "we expect an update THIS WEEK....or NEXT." They could not tell me anything regarding completion or delivery dates.....Funny thing is, I will be in Stuttgart and Frankfurt for 3 weeks (middle September to early October) and I'm kind of hoping it IS delayed, and that I can to ED. The ONLY negative to that, is picking up a 2014 in October.......wouldn't be my first choice.
