Known as Inner Diameter Tube Clamps, the joints are very strong. They are CNC turned and CNC milled for a precise fit. Ideal for roll cages, engine bridges and other tube sections that need to be removed. They are widely used in with Trophy Trucks, offroading, etc.

I, too, would like to know whether the joints are strong enough and whether a one piece design was possible to get into the vehicle or not. Also, I assume that without a multi point harness and Hans, those bars can actually contribute to head injury as one's head flops around in the case of an accident, and bangs against the steel bar, correct? Not saying anything negative about your cage, it looks awesome, just wondering about any cage without a harness/Hans in general.

Edit: you just responded to the joint strength question

So is there any head and neck stability system that will work with this roll bar and the adaptive sport seats?

Hans will require a harness system to work, which you can not use on the adaptive sport seats. Simpson has alternative head restraint systems either the r3 or the hybrid, which works independently of the seat or harness system you are using.

If you are using a Hans device and harness you need install a proper seat that has shoulder pass through incorporated into the seats. The factory sport adaptive seats are not designed for this.

We highly recommend a proper 1 piece fixed back racing style seat when on the track or a OEM type seat that has the proper harness pass through like the Porsche carbon bucket.

We are a dealer for :

Sparco and Sabelt and can supply you with a proper seat if you need one we can install the seats as well.

Ordered a roll bar finally, but wait time on those is pretty long. Seat and harness getting to the shop early this week. The car should be done within the next two weeks. It's all coming together!
