Porsche option pricing is hilarious.

But so are other brands! On the 458--the eponymous (yet optional) Scuderia Shields on the front fenders? $1,700 when I was helping to spec a car. $1,700 for badges!!!

^ whats interesting about the SF shields is that they are bolted on the fender. Its some sort of metal.

Agreed. I guess what I'm saying is that I've never seen one without them. Might as well bake it in the base price...

Fcars with shields require a different front fender. There is an actual indentation that the emblem fits into. I have seem many without shields. They are real hard to sell without shields.
