yup I understand, I was going to get me a daily driver truck and fiddle with it to kill time until I got the Z06.

C'mon...seriously? Astronomical?

I guess we'll see

Eduardo, thank you for the unnecessary clarification. I assumed the poster knew it was the Z06 since that is what is pictured in his post. As a result, he needed to know the car would not be available until next year.

Highly doubtful considering the production numbers and near identical spec to the 2015.....not to mention warranty expiration at near identical times. Where do you get these numbers? How many are for sale?

I was origianly supposed to have a June delivery that has now been pushed to a 2015 with October delivery.
I would rather have the extra 4-5 months of driving with a 2014 and June delivery.

Here's a perfect example of a post that is pure speculation and opinion. Astronomical depreciation? Numbers and facts to back this up? And, BTW: all new cars are depreciating assets. To think that they are not? IS folly.

If there had been no problems this one would not have depreciated much. Now who knows? If the new engine is robust all is well. If not.......

If not, if Porsche still can't get it right after all this, then forget LeMans this year and all 65 previous years of automotive and racing history; just close up shop and go home. Not worried though. The bean counters and suits may have fallen short in some ways regarding the handling of all this, but the engine will be fine.....

True dat! A faulty bolt or bolt spec is really a non issue once fixed (it's done, engines start production in less than 2 days). I am starting to think the 2014s will depreciate just like the other model years, if not less so, considering the low numbers and the future historical impact.

You are welcome, Nick. I should have known it was just slapdash & sloppy writing on your part! And Happy Easter to you too!
