Not the 991TT, but since I still own mine, I think it is ok if I post here
The 991GT2RS Weissach has gone through some interesting mods this past week, MR suspension, GT2RS Clubsport aero, a custom made diffuser, PFC brakes, some Porsche Motorsport front splitter parts and underside flat panel to balance the whole thing. Custom ordered Forgeline 19s with aggressive front offset, and of course Sambo/M Engineering "looked" into it. Haven't had a chance to test fast laps yet but should be faster than my 991Turbo, if not, at least it looks fast!

Great to see this thread revived! Where do we start gents?
So @Pdtp#16 sent some parts to me and with some mega help and support from @Tom@TPC Racing (THANKS DAI LO!) I was ready for the final PCA event of the year. Many of you have been following my on track shenanigans via this thread and know that my goal was to break into the teens around Summit Point on PS4S's. My fastest lap was a 1:20.7 this time last year and I was able to muster a 1:19.33 this past weekend.
There's lots of fast drivers but not too many fast cars in my run group. One of the more memorable sessions of the day (if not season) was with a fellow driver who normally runs his M3 but had his 6 speed GT3 out. We tossed a few point by's back and forth and just had a blast chasing each other around (as evident by my fist pump at the 4:35 mark). I found a dance partner in the run group and we had a blast together. The cool part was that he had some video of the session too. I was tooling around with some video editing and managed to synchronize some picture-in-picture footage with some music in the video below.

I have some questions for the track rats in this thread. I have been tracking my 991.1 TTS four times this year alone. Addicted to say the least. Even bought the wife a track car ( 981 Cayman S ) so she can run too. I just put a Kline exhaust on and over the weekend ran at AMP here in AZ. They have a sound limit of 96 DB (A) My car was at 105 DB(A). So I lifted at both stations frustrating to say the least. Is there a source for turn away pipes or some people called them Laguna Seca pipes. I found lot's of them for the GT3's and variants with center exhaust but nothing so far for our TTS's.

I was thinking along the same lines. This is the current tip I'm running. Thinking about ordering the single tip version and putting a flange on it for V clamp setup and have a local exhaust shop fab something up for that track. My wife is very competitive on the track I wave at her when I pass but she's learning quick.

The first and only time I did a track day at AMP here in GA I got dinged for loud exhaust as well. They were pretty cool but wanted me to upshift and light throttle during that area.
I don't really care for my crazy loud Tubi hatless but it came on the car and catless is way better for egt's, so I kept it. I want to switch to my favorite of all which is the Europipe but for $ savings have stayed with what's on the car for now.

It is frustrating to lift in the straights when you worked to pass the others in the turns. At AMP here in Glendale they have two sound stations on two of the main straights. One is the county's and the other is the associations holding the event. I like my current Kline system but I am trying to find a good fabricator the can put a V flange on the tip portion so I can add some turn away pipes for the track and after put the tips on.

Question on brake pads for Ceramic rotors. What is the consensus on using an aftermarket pads for both street and track usage? Is it better off to use the OEM pad or Pagid?

That was on my '14 Viper TA that I track. It's ECU is very sensitive to octane, so fuel quality was one issue I was able to resolve, plus it doesn't like to be bounced off the rev limiter going up my home track's 3/4 mile back straight.

Blue - what most folks do is take off their ceramics and run iron rotors. Rotors/Pads are consumables and the replacement costs far outweigh the real benefit to them.
Lots of guys at the track (myself included) run Girodisc rotors. With regards to pad, I'm running Ferodo DS3.12's. They're not too noisy on the street (my TT rarely gets driven on the street) but it's a good set up.
