Was Speed Yellow an available color on the 991 Turbo or S?

I have a 991.2 Turbo S in PTS Lime Gold Metallic.

Speed yellow would be PTS. Standard color is Racing Yellow. Much better looking than Speed yellow IMO.

Saffron Yellow was exclusive to the Turbo and Turbo S, if I’m not mistaken. It’s a fantastic color. I’d love to own one.

Dennis C is correct. Saffron Yellow Metallic was only available on the 991.2 TT and TTS. Porsche seemingly had high hopes for this option - a hand-sanded four-coat application that was featured in a Porsche-produced video and in the 2018 hard-cover catalogue. As things turned out, however, it was only offered for a short time in 2018 and was discontinued. I've heard that fewer than 50 cars were ever built for worldwide distribution. So, if you like it and can buy one, you'll have a great car in a rare colour.

An artist friend of mine thought that my Saffron Yellow metallic Turbo out to follow Covid protocols. Just where I'll find a 3 layer surgical mask to fit, I don't know.
