I saw an ad on here for a 2014 TTS with 25K miles for $114,999 so I asked the seller to email me info that I was very interested. Then I noticed that like 10 other people did the same thing with what looked like zero replies. I noticed that this was the sellers first post so I figured he hadn't been checking back in to see what interested there was. So I zoomed in on one of the pictures and was able to make out the name of the business on the door and then googled them. Got the number off Google and called them and sure enough, it was still for sale. It was a race shop that was listing the car for one of their clients. After a number of emails back and forth, I offered $110,000 and they accepted. I couldn't believe in this crazy market that I was able to get a great car for a very reasonable price. It showed up today and I couldn't be happier!!! It's got a sorta flat black wrap on it that I'll probably keep for a few months but it's Agate Grey underneath, which I love... I'm off to go drive...
almost bought a 15 TTS last july from a dealer that deals in lambos, Bentleys, RRs,Astons....he had a pissy attitude about having to sell a Porsche as it was beneath his dealership i guess..didnt buy and he was still trying 45 days later to sell it..
Congrats on a great car for a great price. Keep thinking about the wrap. I would probably removed. Detail the car and do a ceramic pro coating. 3 coats.
I managed to get my 2015 Agate Grey Turbo S w/ 28k miles right before the new year with Burmester & PPF for $112k. I’m glad I did because the prices started to get crazy about a month later.
