Wing doesn't go up at 75mph
I have a newly purchased 991 TTS (2014) and I've noticed that my wing doesn't go up automatically at 75mph (assuming front spoiler too)? It will go up and down (along with front spoiler) when I push the button or when I put it in sport plus mode, but it just doesn't do it automatically at 75. I'm also not getting any warning lights about it (as the manual states I will)...is there an automatic mode I need to turn on or something?
Thanks,..
Thanks,..

Are you sure it is not going up. It is hard to see as it only raises to position 1 at 75 mph. Open your sunroof as it raises a little higher at 75 mph with it open. Also adjust your drivers side mirror so you can visually see if it’s raising. Or you have to hit 150 mph to get it to max.

Thanks...I didn't know there were more than one position. I'll check next time I'm on highway. Does the front spoiler also deploy at 75 and then raise back up at 50?

complicated. mine does not go up automatically also. it's intermittent.
however, when i'm in sports +, it always goes up past 75.

Both the front and rear spoilers have 3 positions
1. Totally closed/down (less than ~75 mph)
2. Midway/partially deployed (75-124 mph)
3. Totally open/up (124+ mph)
The rear spoiler will also go to position 3 at less than 124 mph (e.g., normal highway speed), if your sunroof is totally open (not just tilt), like Sal said

Interesting. My spoilers deploy at different speeds. Perhaps it’s a cabriolet vs. coupe thing? My spoilers deploy to the first position at 125 kph (77.7mph) and to position 2 at 150 kph (93.2 mph).
i can see the rear spoiler at position 1 in my side mirror if I tilt my head a bit. I can see the rear spoiler at position 2 in my rear view mirror.

My 991.2 doesn't, but I like it that way. Maybe it's because of the aerokit. I like being able to control it at my will. It only goes up and down in Sport + or my command.
Wonder if the aerokit plays a role.

Aerokit does not play a role in whether the spoilers engage automatically. The rear spoiler should raise at 75 mph but it only raises to the 1st position. It is most likely doing so and you can’t see it in your rear view or you would be getting a fault message.

I have experimented with the wing at high speeds including corners at 130-150+. The car and its overall handling and attitude completely change. Car begins to grip and handle better with speed. The tossability in the TTS that's compromised at low speeds vs a Carrera GTS for example is made up for at high speeds I've found.

OK, I paid closer attention and sure enough it does go up a little at 75...thanks for the info. Now I need to find a location to go faster than 124 to test theory #2

Great that’s usually the case as most cannot see it in the rear view mirror. As far as going 124mph just be careful for you and others. These cars get to 124 mph in a snap.

If you ever have a Spoiler Failure / reduce speed message pop up, look for my post about it.
Just had mine repaired by dealer.
Sounds like yours is working correctly with no codes.
