The tips are the result of design testing to achieve the best sound characteristics for the car and the inner 3" core pipe is engineered accordingly to achieve what I felt was the best pitch for the 991TT. With our system, the tip reveal can be played with by rotating the upper leg of the X-Pipe for/aft a bit. We built in about 1/2" of tip reveal adjustability this way. During installation, you just keep everything loose, but taught, then dial in the tips before tightening everything up.

OK, tip finish is individual, I tried them all on my GT Silver and in my case I went with the majority and felt black was the best. I will message you now...
