Thanks, I'm in the Washington DC area, I was trying to understand how much room there is for negotiation on the listing price of a used '14 (which I found to be around 78% of the original MSRP)

I understand. I just don't know that specific market well. But you are north enough where my *wait a bit longer and get a winter discount* suggestion may work well, especially if you expand your search into MD/PA/NJ. If you are set on buying now, maybe try to get a few more % points off and call it good. If the car you are looking at continues to sit, your local dealer will have to budge eventually. Also, maybe try the last day of the month. Sometimes that is useful approach.

Is it predicting that wholesale and retail in a year (Nov 16) for an "average" car will be 127/145?

Correct, at least that is the way I understood it - predicting depreciation/pricing 1 year from now on '14tts.

Just bought a 2014 Turbo with MSRP of $170K for 135K. The car was 14 months old with 6K miles. Optioned like turbo S on the interior with glass Sunroof and carbon fiber interior. That's about 79% of MSRP. Car was local so no transportation cost.

I think non-S Turbos are going to depreciate less than a completely optioned out S. My car optioned out to $217k (not to my credit), but I doubt it would sell quickly (or ever) for 79% ($171k). That said, I think $135k for a Turbo is a great deal (even without the PCCB's, AC seats, and Adaptive Cruise )

Is it white? The only black Turbo S cars I saw for that price had over 20k miles and were sold by non Porsche dealers.
