passenger seat removal
Other than an airbag light, are there any other issues to be concerned with when removing the passenger seat?
Worried that the car won't start, etc, etc
thanks

It's covered in the first 3 steps of this PDF:
http://www.rennline.com/PDF/991-ROLL...-WITH-PICS.pdf
I did this on my 997. Be super careful plugging the harness back together, because the pins are fragile.

I am taking the seat out semi-permanently...
The issue or question was not HOW to take the seat out but what happens when you do...
and I mean does the car start?
does it affect other air bags? As in system failure??
Stuff like that...
but I guess if there are no issues for roll bar installation, which I assume requires removing the passenger seat, then seat removal will be fine..??
thanks

What do you mean it can be removed by resistor?
Is that a dealer activity? Or a do it yourself thing?
thanks

There's no way this works for the 991. You'll definitely get an airbag warning. It's looking for more than just the belt receptacle on the passenger side.
