To be more accurate, PAG made a business decision not to fix PDK and provide whole unit replacement as the only option. They figured that training dealer techs to fix PDK is not something they want to do. That's the way the car market goes - everything if just replaced - motor, gearboxes...

Of course when the price of whole PDK replacement is around $20K - that's a bit brutal to owners. Market made the correction, and indy shops are gladly fixing PDKs now.

We manufacture the (2nd gen) distance and speed sensors - the biggest culprits. As we work closely with indys on this - We can suggest the PDK repair shops in most states and countries.
