Scratch on front XPel wrap. Best way to touch up or hide?

I have a very similar area that happened literally the week after i had PPF installed. And get this, it happened because the attachment that I had for my electric pressure washer was not fully seated. When I pulled the trigger it shot out and hit the hood of my car. Thankfully no dent but it scuffed the brand new PPF

If you find a solution, please post. I have about a 3/4 inch PPF gash on driver fender. Dirt and grime gets into it and it sticks to the edges and you cannot clean it out. I have a white car, so it is noticeable.

No way to fix this except redoing the PPF. The only bright side will be if the paint isn't damaged.
Just had my full front end done last week on a new 992 and a rock must have bounced off the perfectly prepped and wrapped hood a day or two later ripping the film and likely damaging the paint anyway!
(wanted to insert the pulling hair out emoji but I can't find it so )

Replace the PPF or it will be there unfortunately. For some reason, issues in the clear bra bother me a lot less than the paint. Probably because I know I can just peel it off and reapply.

Yeah the film itself has been sort of “rolled” like it’s not pierced through but it’s just sort of “flaky.” That’s why I think heat might not do much. The actual PFF is damaged there. Unless heat helps with that? Thankfully it’s very small.
Thanks for the replies. Makes me feel better than I’m not the only one! Lol. The pressure washer incident really resonates with me as it’s typically our over-caring OCD about our cars that gets us to accidentally damage them. Funny how that works.
I wish there was/is some tiny decal I can find that can artfully go there just so I don’t think about it. But yeah that’s just hard to imagine being pulled off well.

Run some hot water over it. I have treated Xpel film like clear coat and polished it with great success. Don't use an abrasive but it will get rid of most of it.

I believe Xpel recommends hot water. How hot and what volume is the question. Take it to a local Xpel installer and talk with them. They have done this before and will know what to do and what not to do.
