Default Vented seats

Hi everyone,

It’s really hot these days so I’ve tested the vented seats for the first time, and in my opinion they are not really efficient, compared to my F-150.
They just prevent from being burned, lol.

How are yours ?

I'm a huge fan of the ventilated seats. In fact, as someone in a warm, humid climate, I won't buy a cabrio without them. They let you run with the top down even on a hot day without sweating thru your shirt and sticking to the seats. I think they work great, and the blower fan in the 991.2 is MUCH quieter than what we had in our 997.2.

The Porsche "cooled" seats pull air through and vent it out under the seat. Mine work well when pulling cold air through- eg when the AC had the cabin air chilled. I usually have to take it off the high setting after a while.

On the bright side, it's much cooler than BMW cars. =)

I think they work pretty well.

Had a Mercedes which had very ineffective ventilated seats. These are much better.

I live in Houston, Texas where HOT and HUMID are the norm in the summer.. Notably, these seat coolers work well to cool the derrière under adverse conditions.

I love mine, had them in my 991.1 C2S and it was a must have when I was looking for my Turbo S.

Mine work good as well. Not the best I’ve seen though. My wife’s 2019 Expedition will flat out freeze off your twig and berrys! Cold!

I use them all summer long. A must with the top down if you don’t want sweaty back and butt.

I think they work well, mine are as good as the seats in my Raptor even though they function in reverse - as was mentioned. I live in Florida so they are used a lot.

Had them on my first 991; don't have them on my current one. Miss them greatly. One of humankind's greatest inventions.

With the top up they work fairly well and with the top down and 90 outside they prevent sweat on the butt & back so I am satisfied. If I had to choose between vented and heat I would take the former, but I live in FL.
