Knockoff from Amazon: (I am quite happy with it.)

Took two tries - the first set I ordered was more turquoise than sapphire blue. This isn't a bad match, though - close enough for me!

I had an OEM painted key on my last 991 (bought used - previous owner had one) and it tended to chip. The injection plastic knockoffs hold up better. No chips, nothing, it still looks great. Never had a problem with the blades falling off, either.

The newer ones (for the 992 or other newer Porsche models) are even flatter/smaller than ours. I like the smaller size but now it looks less like a 911 LOL.

Have had no issue with the molded version. Small chip for the sticker/ film version after a couple of years

I'm not one for knock-offs, but these are pretty cool. The fit is good too.

Here's my OEM painted (from previous owner) Graphite Blue Metallic key fob. This is its best angle, it has chips from years of use. I'm looking into replacements and will likely go the cheap Amazon route. I need to pick one up for the white Macan S because we're always mixing up the keys!

Here's my Amazon purchase. Honestly, I don't think there's any chance the OEM painted covers last, without noticable damage, long enough to justify the price over the knock offs. I could replace this every 6 months for 5 years and still come out close to even.

For the price, I'll buy as many knock offs as I like and can keep changing the design as I please. Conversation starters when people see my keys.

OEM pieces are simply overpriced and boring, they chip as easily and are just as susceptible to the same wear and tear. The only one benefitting from buy OEM is PAG, nobody else.

I also have a few of the racing livery knockoffs. My biggest gripe is that the frunk button isn't where it should be.
