991 or 997.2
My vin is WP0CB2A92CS154976, how can I tell if it is a 991 or 997.2? I have seen many things on line that make me wonder and just would like to be able to definitively determine. Thanks

https://vinanalytics.com/car/WP0CB2A92CS154976/ It's a 991... If you search the VIN number on Google Images there are a bunch of photos of the car that make it clear.
Are you going to buy it?

If you can't tell by the body lines and bumpers, I find that the tail lights and engine lid are a pretty good giveaway. The 991 has pointy tail lights. The 997.2 has blobby tail lights. These are the scientific terms, mind you.

All it took was one picture of the front lights for me to know it was a 991.
That's a pretty loaded 2012.5 car.

This is really interesting and I don’t know if the OP was just trying to teach me something. But as I love this site, I always play.
I look at Rennlist almost exclusively on the iPad in Safari (not the app.). So since the OP put his VIN in, I pressed and held that VIN. The VIN sort of highlighted, then zoomed and then the iPad suggested one of those VIN searches inside of Rennlist. So I bit and low and behold we have a VIN searcher somehow inside this app. I posted the results below.
To the OP, is is accurate?
