Default Ran over my key!

I ran over my key in the driveway with my other car.All the functions, door locks, trunk, etc, but it will not start the car,no dash lights nothing.
I am just wondering if any suggestions are out there before I have it towed to the dealer (200 miles) this is gonna be some expensive stupid tax.....
Car is a 2013 991.1

What about the second key, which came with your 911?
It should start the car.
Disassembly of the key is quite simple.
First take the side panels off…

Before you tow the car, call the dealer and see if they can replicate your key via your vehicle ID. You could also send them your damaged key if it would help speed the process.

Towing should be a last option.

Losing a key is a pain, lost one of mine, replaced it and my sister-in-law found the lost one. Now have three keys for that car.

Get a new key. No need to tow the car.

Is the key completely destroyed? Would be nice to try and pop it apart and see if the circuit board is broken. If you are lucky maybe the battery just popped out. Also as other have asked, 2nd key?

look for the transponder “pill”. That is what the anti theft system is looking for. If it is crushed you may be out of luck.
