I'm tackling some of these rattles this week, but the one I really want to get sorted doesn't seem to be common. Has anyone ever come across a rattle coming from the latch that slides the front passenger seat forward? I've sprayed a bit of silicone in there hoping it might catch something, but it's really quite a void inside of the seatback. The rattle goes away completely if I move the inboard latch up to release the seat.

First pic - near-constant rattles:

Second pic - blissful silence:

@devtec - I can't thank you enough for the tremendous amount of time you've spent on this. I started tackling my squeaks and rattles yesterday. I've got both doors, the trim piece under the rear window and the passenger B-pillar complete. Huge difference already. My door speakers now fill enough mid-range that my fancy Dynaudio tweeters no longer overpower the sound stage. It looks like someone removed the passenger window switch in the past as two of the clips were broken, so I'm ordering a replacement switch.

My B-pillars are quite different from yours and from any of the ones I've found in the various instruction threads/PDF's. Could be that they updated/improved the design of the B-pillar trim as the model years went on (mine is an early 2013 MY / Aug 2012 build). I'm also noticing that most of my squeaking from my B-pillars is coming from where it meets the roof lining, so on the driver pillar I might spend more time in that area, if I decide to take it apart. The driver side seems like it's not making any noise, so not sure I want to re-live the trauma of releasing that PITA clip that holds it in place.

Great work koala! You’ve done a lot already!

Yeah, my car is a 991.2. Porsche definitely updated the B pillar area. Just as you said I’ve noticed tiny creaking up near the headliner. Today I added some felt to the plastic frame up near the headliner. It made a difference so I’d recommend this to all.

Original post updated with pic.

I'm also experiencing a sound associated with the front seat latch. I don't have a solution for it, but I put a small piece of paper under the latch to preload it, eliminating the noise. Obviously, not a very elegant solution.

I had the front seat latch rattle and a few squirts of silicon spray in different directions solved it for me. It's only been a week but all good so far. Now to address the other rattles...

devtec, you're a madman! In the best way though, I hate squeaks too! This post is so in depth and informative with all the pictures.

OK, I finally started today with the back of the car:

I can report a minor improvement, but not quite there. I still hear some rattle/stuff back there - probably need to tackle the B-pillars next.

Thanks for all the work posting this... going to do the rear panel first on my new to me '18 Carrera T... ordered the felt tonight!

Though it does look a little more complicated than working on my 914's

OK, the infamous B-pillar. Yes, harder to do because of that darned clip. I used a pick to push the metal tab inwards while pulling out with the other hand, while being upside down, while balancing a light on my shoulder ...

Then of course the felt pad as recommended, although I put some in extra places:

Extra pieces here:

And here in this upper tab:

Funny photo showing how many felt pieces I used on both sides:

Result - better. For sure quieter now, but I hear a little bit of noice/creaks in the back still. I might redo the back end panel again this afternoon.

Thanks once more to the OP for this AWESOME guide

Did the really basic stuff on the doors today - it was more of me experimenting to see how hard it was to get the panels off (actually, not that bad):
