For us MT owners it looks like we'll get the same if Porsche comes out with a similar neutering fix. And if they don't, we can still file.

It did the same when I first pasted my vin and then I went back and make sure there were no extra characters and it accepted it at least I think that's what happened. It was strange.

On further review, it would appear that only PDK vehicles are included in the Sport + Class.

That’s a lot of personal information being requested for something I’m not sure is real……..anybody confirm it?
Agreed, does anyone know if there’s any way to confirm this site is real? Not sure it’s worth the $250 I’d get if I apply and it’s a scam site to get your personal info. I did get an email from them separately about this, but still am a little wary.

What personal information are you worried about? Always good to be cautious of being scammed, but all they are asking for your address and car vin number with proof of sale. VINs are imprinted on your car and visible to anyone. You give out your address all the time whenever you order something on-line.

Always good to be cautious. You can call the 888 number and speak with human. They can clarify and questions about this settlement.

Good point!

Geez I hope it’s not phishing scam.

Seems like Porsche would be contacting the affected customers since they are footing the bill. These guys are probably just money sucking lawyers involved with the class action settlement looking to increase their take of the pot by getting people to sign up with them.

Any lawyers that are part of Rennlist are exempt from being "money suckers" BTW, I am an engineer, leave us out of this.

OK, submitted. I got lucky that I was able to find the original purchase paperwork - the whole thing was easier than I expected. I owned the Boxster S since 2016 so that is 6 years of glorious memories

I didn't have my original purchase agreement but had what I paid in taxes on the car so I submitted that along with my registration. Hope that's acceptable for them?

There is an 800 number. Call them and find out if acceptable or what alternatives are available if not.
