Anyone receive their Venmo choice of payment? I contacted them thru email bc I have not received any money yet. Filled out 4 claims. The reply they sent back to me was , payment was sent out May 23rd to the Venmo account on file. I know I put the correct Venmo bc its my email but also got the 4 emails saying it would come in the next 10 days. Who knows. Well today is the 26th and still nada.

Nope! Seems paper checks & Paypal people are getting their money. Something is up with Venmo people. No one is receiving payment from that choice of payment. At least not that I know of. I’ll assume we will get it eventually……..

It seems like we have a pattern here with no Venmo payments making it out, but everyone being told they were sent on 5/23.
In my experience with Venmo, you are notified immediately when someone sends you money and that money is immediately available in your Venmo balance. I can immediately turn around and Venmo that money to someone else. However, transferring these funds to you bank account or adding funds from your bank to your Venmo account takes the 3 to 5 business days (it's usually faster) unless you pay a fee to expedite it. I think most services like this that I've used operate that way, including PayPal. As someone else stated, I believe the services are making money on your money while it's being "transferred". Either way, good choice to use PayPal here!
Venmo states that it can take 3-5 FULL business days, so depending on the time of day on the 23rd it was sent, that could've been yesterday the 30th or today the 31st. It also says to contact Venmo support after the 5th FULL business day (tomorrow).

My “…within 10 days…“ email was the 16th. Based on everyone else’s comments I assume they paid out on the 23rd. I sent email last week asking what was going on and received no reply - maybe they are deluged!
