Default cabin air filter? 2016 911 cabriolet

2016 carerra cabriolet (black edition)

does anyone know the WIX # (or any other) for the cabin air filter and location? WIX says 24255 but Amazon says it won't fit the vehicle. Ugh!

I was told it was in the dash under the glove box, and someone else said it's in the trunk (front hood)....

I wanted to order it before I start digging into things but thought maybe someone may know for sure part # and location

thanks in advance!

Dan

There are 2 filters, one in the frunk and one under the glove box in the cabin. I replace both when doing a change. Sorry can't help on aftermarket filter numbers as I purchased OE.

I just replaced both of mine on our 2016 Carrera 4, here are the ones I used:

Amazon Amazon

Amazon Amazon

Both fit just fine. Find a YouTube video that shows you the install. The one in the frunk is pretty easy and the one under the dash on the passenger side is not hard if you have a short flat blade screwdriver, a good light and can stand on your head while kneeing beside the vehicle - lol

Yup, upside down is the only way to go for doing the under dash filter!

Honestly a US quarter coin works really well undoing those plastic screws under the passenger side foot well if you do not have a flat head screw driver that fits well. I just did this job last night took 15 minutes to do both.

thanks! Just ordered them....

unfortunately I just had both my knees replaced 7 weeks ago so kneeling is not in my future... at least for a while but I'll figure it out.

thanks!

How old were the filters you removed and what was the condition of them? My ‘19 T has the original filters but only 11k miles on the car. Forgot to bring replacements to Goldcrest last month when I had them do the four year service.
