Geyser Gray 50th Spotted

Here are some pictures (from Rare Shades LA, September 2019) of a Geyser Grey 911 50th next to my Touring (in light Ivory) and a winged GT3 in some 1/1 color that I can't remember the name. It is a true PTS inasmuch as he had to have the color approved by Porsche and it was such a complex paint job that it was painted somewhere other than the normal painting section of the factory. It was a metallic white that had different glittery colors in it. The owner of the car also had an R. He said he preferred the R to the winged GT3. He also mentioned that it took a long, long time for his car to get delivered due to the very unique and complex paint.

First time seeing my dream Porsche today... Geyser Gray 911 50th Anniversary. I've seen a couple Agate gray in person, but never Geyser. I've had the privilege to provide a couple Rennlist members warranty coverage for their 50th Anniversaries, two being the same color. Too bad he was headed the other direction, would have loved to flag him down.

The other one is down to 116k now, I think it was above 140K when they got it. Yes the Carfax shows minor repair on rear bumper, but it’s still CPO. But I suppose as a collector 911, that Carfax will and is hurting its value. Well a person will buy it for what it is and not worry about thst aspect.

Not a one 40th Anniversary 911 model for sale in the US either. . .in the "ugly" 996 version.

It was odd for Porsche Bethesda to have two of them for sale at one time, I don’t see that happening again. And yes, lots of GT3s for sale. Not many manual 4S though. Not many Ts either.

I’m thinking maybe Oryx White, a VW color previously offered on Porsche and PTS; at least one 918 Spyder was painted in Oryx White.
Maybe Balloon White, a Lamborghini color?
Or possibly a Ferrari color such as Bianco Fuji or Bianco Italia?
