Geyser Gray 50th Spotted
First time seeing my dream Porsche today... Geyser Gray 911 50th Anniversary. I've seen a couple Agate gray in person, but never Geyser. I've had the privilege to provide a couple Rennlist members warranty coverage for their 50th Anniversaries, two being the same color. Too bad he was headed the other direction, would have loved to flag him down.

Incidentally, that’s the 991.1 MT that I recently purchased, which the previous owner installed a bumper wart (rear camera) on, which I am looking for OEM options to replace with:

. . .but it still looks like they have the other dark grey MT 50th Anniversary for sale on their website, so you're not too late. . . but the dark grey one did have a rear bumper incident. There are two PDK 50th Anniversary models for sale in geyser grey presently: one in FL and one in CO, both appear to be CPO from Porsche dealerships.

Interesting. . .personally, I like 911 model because of the RWD and rear engine feel; however, I suppose if I needed a daily driver in a snowy climate, I would have to get a 4S for traction purposes. . .

Yes, I put the display on the rear to front bias screen too and try my best to kick in the front drive at times. Like you said most of the time it’s in RWD mode, unless you hit slick roads or nail it at the apex of a turn and power out. Even then it seems to max at 25 percent or so power to the front wheels. I’ve never got it more than 30 percent, and that’s a rare event. So lots of people do seem to think it’s always sending power to the front like Quattro in an Audi or a Subaru S well, when it doesn’t. Anyhow, the 50th is nice indeed!

I've driven literally every variant of the 911 with the exception of the 991 GT2 RS. I ended up buying a 4S as well. It's in RWD almost exclusively (you can watch it in real-time on the dash) and just splits the power when needed. The back end still goes out and the nannies catch you, just like the RWD. You lose some of the tail happy fun, but you also lose the scary understeer you get sometimes in the RWD if you're not an experienced track guy, which I'm not by any means. With the electronic 991 steering it's not that dramatic of a different steering feel like the 997's can be. I was looking for a 4GTS at first but came across an oddball 4S to play with until the market settles a bit in the future.

The other one is down to 116k now, I think it was above 140K when they got it. Yes the Carfax shows minor repair on rear bumper, but it’s still CPO. But I suppose as a collector 911, that Carfax will and is hurting its value. Well a person will buy it for what it is and not worry about thst aspect.
