Seat Ventilation
Q: When the AC is OFF, is on is the air circulated through the seats also off and AC compressor disengaged? (also if AC is on is that seat air cooled?)

I apologize for the posting the tread before a deep search --- and thank you to Falcondrivr for his post from 2020...
"I’m in Tampa too. They were a must have option for me as I have them in my Cayenne and love them. Most people don’t understand that Porsche ventilated seats work opposite of other manufacturers. They “suck” rather than “blow.” So the ventilation is more subtle, and only sucks in the ambient air around the seat. Subsequently, they can take a bit more time to cool down."
All of this is important to me for when I'm on track and do not want the AC on, but certainly do want the air circulation.

Best Porsche option ever. I have had ventilated seats on all my Porsches and would not own a Porsche without it. IMO they work better than most other manufactures that offer them.

do they suck the air between seat & passenger then blow it into the cabin? or the opposite?
in either case, if the air is not cooled/ refrigerated & the A/C is off , how are they effective?

Ventilated seats were a must have option for my cabriolet here in southwest Florida. They work fantastically. And yes, they suck, not blow; the air is not cooled but they definitely cool me. The ventilated seats in our Volvo XC90 work the same way.
