Hi all,
Considering a set of all seasons for my 991.2C2S. Seem like Id have to go with 305 in the back?
Id rather not have a set of winter rims/tires. I wont be driving it over winter. Just early Spring/Fall.

any Recommendations?

I have these on my 991.2 C4S.
I'm in middle TN and I have not driven the car in snow yet, just cold temps.

I love the Continental DWS 06+ ultra-high performance all season on my 991.1 TTS. They are available in the OEM sizes.

They are great for spirited street use even in hot temps, and they are substantially better on cool/cold pavement, making them an excellent choice for year-round street use. Obviously, track use would overheat them, but they will still hang with summer tires for a couple of laps until they get very hot, at which time they would fade in comparison. You can't really overheat them in street use unless you're a street outlaw.

I tried them in 4" of snow last week in 20ºF temps, and they were very confidence inspiring, even though they are not rated as snow tires.

I put all seasons on my Targa a couple months ago. At the time, the only ones I could get (easily, from my local tires shops) were the Azenis FK460 AS. I'd never heard of this brand but read reviews, watched YouTube videos about comparison tests, etc. All looked good and they are working great... and the price was very reasonable - $1300 (US) all-in for the set of 4 installed. I don't track the car and don't drive highly aggresively (I go up to 'moderately aggressively'). After 3 years of not being able to drive the Targa below 40F, I really appreiciate having the AS tires, though I know purists will say all seasons are not cool.

A lot of these so-called forum "purists" are not credible sources, purely street drivers, and aren't capable of getting anywhere above 7-8/10ths of what the car is capable of. It's primarily bragging rights posturing, and sports car manufacturers like Porsche keep using them exclusively on their sports cars because they market them as track capable.

I've completed a number of high performance driving schools up to SCCA race license qualifying. A couple of years ago, several of the instructors told me about a test they ran with the Michelin PS4S max performance summer tires, vs. Michelin AS4 UHP all-seasons, which is very comparable to the Continental DWS 06+ performance wise. In their tests, the all season tire produced almost identical lap times on the first few laps, and only beyond lap 4 did the summer tires start showing an advantage. You'll never get those types of tire temps on the street. Thus, many pro drivers recommend UHP all-seasons over the summers for year-round street driving.

Within the last 10 years, UHP all-seasons have nearly closed the gap with summer tire performance even in warm condition spirited street driving. In cool/cold conditions, it's no contest in have favor of the UHP all-seasons.

I was reluctant to get anything but Michelin on my C4S but eventually went with DWS06+ and I’m pleased.
you won’t regret it. They grip better than my summer pirellis (that I threw out)

If you can do the Summer/Winter swap - do it. Forget the naysayers - All Seasons are a still good tires to drive on - way better than running Summer tires in the winter

I did a few years of swapping Summer/Winter setups initially. Then for a couple of years I did Summer tires April through November and All-Seasons for the Winter.
But over the last 5 years, I've just been doing All-Seasons year round. It does help a bit that I live in the Seattle area where it rarely snows.. then again.. we've been seeing cold temps and snow pretty much every year now.
On my current 991.1 C2S, I run the DWS 06+ on the factory 20" recommended sizes and its a daily driver.
I've been really happy with the All Seasons even in the recent biting cold weather. I prefer the Continental DWS 06+ over Bridgestone Potenza RE970/980AS or Toyo Proxes 4 Plus.
Sure, these will melt/shred if taken to the track, but for spirited street driving, they're a great compromise - it's all about how you drive in the conditions.

Go with Conti DWS06+ they are good all-season tires. I had them on my Audi RS4, good enough for canyon runs in the summer.

Haven't tried them on a 911 yet, but the Michelin Pilot All Season 4 were excellent on a C8 Corvette, at least in the dry up in the canyons/Angeles Crest

+1 for the Continental DWS06+ tires. Great all around tire for those of us who live in areas where the temps get cold.

The only con I would say is that they have sidewalls that bend inward vs Michelin tires where the sidewalls are much more upright as the width is more 'true to size'. This may matter to some and not to others.

Are there any All Season options for a 991.2 GTS? I’m not seeing any that fit the 12” rears.

I've used the Michelin AS3+ and AS4, and love them. My Giulia Quadrifoglio came stock with Pirelli P Zero Corsas, which are great and lasted 9k miles. The AS4 is more comfortable, but the softer sidewall means the turn-in is not as sharp. Very satisfied. Used them on Porsches, AMG, and my Alfa. They last quite well.

I put DWS06+ on my Camry while living in Nashville. The tires were awesome in all weather conditions. Rain, light snow, didn’t matter, those tires gave a lot of grip and confidence. I live in CA so my need now is different, but if I needed an all-season that would see low temps, it would be my first choice for any car. I love Contis and also keeping my eye out for the new Sport Contact.
