I can totally see why you guys feel the way you do about the base cars. I have a customer (C2 with 7MT) who just told me that he rented a new Carerra S while we were doing work on his car. He hated it. He said it felt like a video game with an on/off switch for power.
We like to improve these base model cars into GT3 killers. With suspension, brakes, cooling and supercharger the little base is nothing to mess with! And it still looks, sounds and drive like a N/A Base 911.

I live near the country and my spirited driving is all in the twisties! Sure there are cars that quicker than me, but in the twisties is where your suspension, tires and talent shows. I have been thinking of your superchargers, but then it would defeat the purpose of keeping base with 300hp and change. It is plenty to get into trouble with! I do love your design, but I think when it is all said and done, your kits is about 20k installed? I might be wrong!
The reason we chose to use a Centrifugal Supercharger is simply because it does not add violent bursts of torque and power the way other power adders do. The way power is introduced with our kit is very linear and above 4000+ RPMs. This makes it so perfect for sprints to redline from any RPM in any environment.
It could be around $20k installed. You have to factor in headers, PDK tune, or Clutch and installation. Also, transportation. The result, a 991 base that drives and sounds like a N/A Porsche but pulls like a stage 2 M4.
Ironically, I have a Cabriolet in the Shop right now. What a beauty!

Here is my recently acquired 2014 911 c2! Photo from the dealer as i have no photo taking abilities. By far the best car ive driven. Super capable yet i can still wind it out to redline with ease!
the only mods I think I'll do are the numeric shifter and high flow cats
