Default Engine Purge Fan fault

I got the engine purge fan fault - that went away after restarting the car.
But I think based upon reading here it usually ends up resulting a replacement.
I used the scan tool and it shows: Engine compartment purgefan 2: electrical fault (limitexceeded)

If Fan 2 the drivers side or passenger side?

thx

Thanks! Do you happen to have the error code from the scan tool? That too will help future searches.
