A 255 Porsche N spec fits perfectly on a 9.5. Just like 992 GT3.
The 315 K spec looks like the 305 CR-S on a 12 inch wheel, narrow.

A bunch of pics of 305 Pilot Sport 4S N-spec here. Thread is about wheels, but has a lot of angles on the tires—either total overkill or just what you're looking for.

In my experience, no 305's sidewall fills out a 991's fender quite like the Michelin N-spec PS4S or Cup 2…it just comes down to your visual preferences. Some like the "stretched" look, some like the "full" look of the Michelins.

Cup 2 Connect 240’s in 305 on stock ride height and wheels:

I find the fill the wheel well better than the Pzeros did.

Cup 2's are the best if you dont drive in cold conditions. I did not like PS4S' at all but I have not tried the conti's.

While true of the older Cup 2’s for sure, the compound in the 240 Connects seems to be more tolerable of low temps in my limited experience. I have gone on some colder drives up in the canyons, but I try to avoid sub 35F temps, although not always successful with elevation changes

They’ve also been holding up pretty well, so far 7k miles and the rears still haven’t hit the tread bars. I recommend them to people looking for something stickier than a PS4S, but not wanting the fast wear, poor wet/cold traction of the N0/N1 spec Cup 2’s.

Yes. When I run CR-S, I use 325 on the 12.

I have run 265 on my OEM 9’s. But slight rub in full lock only.

255 no rub. I have not tried 265 on my new 9.5’s as yet.

But 255/325 is good . You don’t want front taller than rear. Thats when dramas unfold. 255/325 no rubbing.

Haha. Just picture of a picture. Carrara White Carrera. Hard to say.

Ok I might as well get it over and ask a stupid question.
I see some tires with like a little lip that sticks out of the sidewall, why is that there, is there a purpose?

Thanks. But as you mentioned, not all 325 are the same width.

Thanks, I really don't like the look of that, my 911 has it on the front tires only. I like the look of a smooth sidewall better

The lip protector on the front P Zero N spec was hugely pronounced and didn't look good IMO.

Agreed.

So when I'm shopping for new tires , how do I avoid that lip, find a tire without the NO spec? I guess it depends on the brand. I'm glad I asked that question
