Given what the S can do with the new chassis and 400HP on tap, the 450HP GT3 should be very impressive. Even if the article is right and there is no PDK, I wouldn't necessarily assume that the only other option would be a 6 speed when there is a new 7 speed available.....

love the wing, def want the GT3!... i feel that pdk will be an option however..... they have already stated that all turbo's will be PDK from now on... i feel GT3 is going that direction as well. (its good, think scudaria!)

just under 100K pounds means just under $150K for base gt3 car with no options, and proabbly at least $15K got to be spent on options... welll... also means new RS will be priced exactly where 4.0L RS was.

The one thing that looks like a DUMB thing on GT3, is 20" wheels, hard to tell 100%, but it looks like 20" wheels on this test mule! IF they want lighter wheels, they why not just do 19s?!?!

Ås far as visual cues, these test mules are meaningless predictions.

There's no way a GT3 is going to be $50K+ more than an S. The delta on the 997 between S and GT3 was about $25K and you can expect roughly the same for the 991; figure mid $120's to $130K absolute tops for a base car.

i dont understand the deposit however, if your putting one down 2 years in advance.... you surely have been a customer of theirs in the past.... why are they still demanding a deposit for your business, especially on a car that does not exist yet? my dealer just takes my word and puts my order in and i pay upon delivery... been like that last 4 vehicles.
turbo money they should for sure show even more gratitude, im just a poor "base model" buyer.
