If you fit aftermarket front lip without ordering S-PASM it won't make your car any lower. However, approach angle will be still compromised.

Do you mean Sports PASM? I don't know whether it was a typo but if it wasn't you might find it useful to know that this front spoiler comes as a part of S-PASM suspension which makes your car 20mm lower and includes thicker sway bars (uncless you specced PDCC, I guess), different spring rates and increased rear spoiler deployment angle.

Here is the Pasm Sport spoiler. It is indeed lower than the standard one, and with the car lower by 20 mm, some care is needed in sharp driveways. I have had no other problems apart from what I reported in another thread here, in detail.

I too have the S-PASM option (and PDCC) and to my great surprise after 7.5k miles, and living in NYC, I have not yet lost the spoiler nor damaged it. Minor scrapes yes, but nothing threatening. I drive consciously and on steep driveways I make every attempt to approach them 'diagonally' at least to minimize any chance of bottoming. I am pleasantly surprised that it has survived this long!

Occasionally I drive in the city but that's only weekends when traffic s lighter and it's easier to park

Thanks for the pic.
I have a white one with S-PASM on order and your pic is confirming what I suspected: First thing I'm going to do it spray that spoiler white !

i would not, the spoiler bends and folds under when it hits... meaning yours will look horrible... leave it black, it looks good.. matches the intakes and so forth.
