Beautiful car bty. Would white gauges look better (vs yellow)?
Yes. The 911 somehows always shows its curves better as a coupe. Decided to stick to the black yellow contrast as much as possible hence yellow dials

IMO, colored dials/seatbelts make an impression at first and certanly look good when they match the exterior color, but I would get tired of them after a few miles, black will never sore your eyes, its a a sporty classic.
If you like the contrast (and I do) I would either get the matching seat belts/dials or the colored interior trim bits, but not both at the same time.

Id agree with the coupe having better lines than the cab in the 997 but not in the 991. The top is amazing and its shape is basically exactly the same. The silhouette is the same between both and porsche is proud of this and mentioned it many time. Also you cant see bows like in normal soft tops.

+1 and thats exactly why I even considered the cab, even the performance is hardly any different but you still dont get the signature quarter window arc, and the combination of curves over the rear wheel arch (above the fender and along the roofline). Compared the two side by side and finally decided to change my mind back to the Coupe.

The other benefit of the Cab is you have 4 windows to adjust airflow into cabin when roof is up.

Roof up, Cab is almost as, if not as, quiet as the Coupe.
