Default 991 Euro Delivery Video

Here is a short video showing the Stuttgart customer delivery area and several road shots. Unfortunately, I was so distracted with the new 991 that I have only a handful of video clips. We did another delivery like this in 2010 so you would think I would not have gone ape.

Great video! The music matched it well. Mannn, that Aqua blue Boxster with the aqua wheels was stunning!

Thanks everyone. After delivery we took a 2,500 mile driving trip, mostly around France. The toll roads in France are a PITA. Many are automated and won't accept USA MasterCard or Visa. The car should be arriving at the dealer any day, but unfortunately we are going out of town for a week. Ugh!

Luckily Italy/Germany/Austria accept US cards. I just visited my brother-in-law who lives in Cagno (Dolomites) and flew in and out of Frankfurt. Boy, would I love to have a 991 over there. Drove the Stelvio pass, Autobahn etc. Had a BMW 520 diesel wagon. Nice car but of course nothing like the 991.

I was there a few weeks ago and saw the boxster in the flesh. Man it looks even better in person!!

Also all those toll roads are ridiculous, getting back to the US i can appreciate my $3.50 bridge toll. At least 3 times on my trip I paid like 29.50euro ($38) to use like less than a 100mile stretch.

I've only read about this so don't know how true it is, but in addition to the cost, supposedly you can be ticketed on the toll roads if your time between entry and pay points is substantially less than it should be, meaning you must have been exceeding the speed limit.
