Default C4S now at the dealer.

Unfortunately we had to forego European delivery because work got in the way. The car has just arrived at the dealer and is having a few things done before I pick it up in a couple of week (including the install of X51 power kit).

I'll post some better pictures of the car after taking delivery.

Looks great! Glad to finally see another 991 with deviated stitching!

Hold on, I was under the impression that the Power Kit install is done by the chaps at the factory? The same chaps who work on the GT cars?

Beautiful car! Nice touch to leave off the "Carrera 4S" markings. Too much text otherwise.

It is my understanding the X51 kit is retrofittable also.

Nice car, I like the interior.

I went back and forth in my mind for weeks about the power kit. By the time I decided to tick the box it was too late. So now I am paying the price and retro fitting it. Yes, you can order the kit from the factory and your dealer will install it. They have been on back order (apparently a very popular retro fit) but I managed to pick one up that will arrive next week. Porsche recommends to install it before putting any miles on the car (to achieve the full 430PS) so it will stay at the dealer to have the kit installed and I'll pick up the car when I get back from a business trip in a couple of weeks. Before anyone asks no, I don't need someone else to pick up the car and break it in before I get back!

That's really interesting.

Oh, and I have to agree with Dr. Jay. That's a nice interior. I like the deviating stitching and the red seat-belts. Goes well with the red brake-calipers. And the red strip exclusive to the '4' ties the whole thing together very nicely.
