Default 991 key fob

For those of you that have a cabriolet, does your key fob have only 3 workable buttons? Any idea what the 4th blank button at the bottom is for?

my panamera key is identical to the 991. The trunk icons are different though.

Yes, the blank is where the remote top up/down key would be if we could have that in Canada/US.

Thanks. Anyone know why we don't get that here?

I am also an attorney admitted in 1980. I would prefer to suggest that engineers are responsible as they should have been able to thoughtfully design a safe and effective closing and triggering system. IMHO it's best never to blame messengers.

If we had perfect engineers, we would have no need for litigation lawyers. What a wonderful world that would be.

Prob because youre using reason and logic and take responsibility for your own actions.

BTW, on the Cayenne, one can open the rear latch w/ the Fob but can not close it. Same F'up logic as mentioned above.

Ok Ok, OT, but time for a lawyer joke!

What's the difference between a dead dog in the road and a dead lawyer in
the road?

There are skid marks in front of the dog.

This coming from a guy with a dog precariously located behind the back wheels of his sports car in his avatar. Hmmm...
