i'm not the biggest fan of the red belts with your combo but as far as the rest of the car goes...as my kid says..."woooooooooow". unfrigginbelievable. this could be a reference car for a proper Gentleman's Express

If Porsche would release a Cognac/Black two-tone it'd be perfect IMO... This is a close 2nd with Black/Beige 3rd.

Simply stunning dr. Bit that Mahogony metallic really is one of the nicest colors for the 991 IMHO, especially i.c.w. The Espresso-Cognac interior.

Congrats and enjoy your car!

Thanks to you Suzy! You contributed a lot to make the configuration of this car! One thing I didn't do about your recommendations was the deviated rug, no I'm not really sure if I'm having regrets. I wonder how complicated would be to change it in the future....

I think you can get pretty much any color combination as a two-tone if you specify deviating color and pay the extra fee. I just ordered platinum grey/espresso on my rhodium silver C2S.

'Two Tone' is a well coordinated package of leather colors & deviating stitching as offered by Porsche for a reasonable cost. One of them is the subject of this thread. Most of us know that you can 'mix & match' from existing leather colors currently offered by Porsche on a 991 (not just 'any color'!), but it's very expensive & often leads unexpected results (e.g. color of trim pieces - see photo).

PS Please post photos when your 'Platinum Grey/Espresso' arrives. That should be interesting.

I flew home on Friday via Munich on Lufthansa 1st class on their new transatlantic product and it is espresso/beige 2 tone combo and I have to say they did a great job with the color chime, very relaxing to the eyes. Seats are espresso as is the ottoman, the arm rests are also espresso everything else including the setbacks are beige. You can google the color scheme, overall it was very well done

Default 'Espresso/Cognac' With Deviating Carpeting in Espresso!

We wondered earlier in this thread what 'Espresso/Cognac' would look like with deviating carpet in Espresso. Now we have some photos of it from a MY2014 Basalt Black w. Espresso/Cognac at Porsche of North Houston:

I think the deviating carpeting in Espresso is a beautiful combination w. this two tone interior! It offers a very rich contrast to the Cognac leather bits...and is extremely practical as a carpet color!

It's either black or matches the carpet. I had a hard time determining the color in low light. I have the deviated carpet (Agate) and It REALLY sets off the pebble gray. Standard carpet color for my interior is pebble and is just too light (had it on previous owned 4S Cab) Even though the mats were Agate the rest was just too light and showed too much grime/oil etc from normal day to day use.

Also, I'm a big fan of the two tone leather interior for the same dashboard reflection issues many are speaking of in earlier posts. Personally, I like the Expresso with the Beige but, it all depends on exterior color and if it's a Cabriolet, what that top color is.

Do you guys know if the trim pieces are clip on or adhesive?

I'm looking at picking up a car that has Brushed Aluminum trim and center console and switching it to Mahagony. Not sure how hard that is.

Thanks

Jeff
