I think it's funny too. I always feel so guilty when I don't give anything to the panhandlers at stoplights. If I had your plate, I'd just point to the back of the car
Maybe see you in Pinehurst. Will be there Sat and Sunday.

Sounds great. I'm doing the fairway drive and I'll be in the Porsche Corral.

I think some rich dude driving around in a Porsche that says homeless on the number plate is not particularly funny but is also pretty insensitive insensitive. Perhaps youi could get away with it, if your car was a Honda Civic.
If you are going to be politically incorrect (and I can certainly support that), at least let it be funny and don't let it make you look foolish.

I'm from Canada - I am very polite.
I think a plate like that is likely to put you firmly in the douche-bag camp to many observers.
If that's the reaction you're going for - carry on.
Like the best philosopher of the modern age says...
walk into a cancer ward and announce "I don't have it".
See where the discussion goes from there.
just sayin'

Perhaps something like "POORSCHE" would be more likely to be interpreted as self deprecation and less likely to be considered insensitive.
I considered custom plates with my first 911, but thought they were all too likely to bring the kind of attention that ruins paint as to be worth the risk. As long as 100% of those who see it aren't offended by it, you should be ok.

I don't see a problem with your plate. I'd get a chuckle out of seeing it, not think "what an insensitive so and so." My plate says FASTRNU. I guess that makes me insensitive to all slow drivers on the road.
One of the funniest ones I saw on the back of a hi buck car was IOIOIO.
