C4S sport PASM v non
Since I'm getting some good info as I decide whether to trade the 981S for a C4S, what's the word on the sport PASM? Anyone have it and regret it or not have it and regret not getting it?
It doesn't cost much (by P car standards), but I'm not sure I need another 10 cm lower. Dealer didn't have any to compare, which might say something or not.
Ideas yea or nay?
Thanks.

Not that there is anything wrong with the PASM, Sport PASM is a total bargain- shorter stiffer springs, and stiffer sway bars that compromise suppleness not a bit, improve handling and feel and give a perfect stance. The extra 10mm is not a problem provided you watch out for curbs and sharp driveways. Don't know about your 982 S, but my 991C2S with Sport PASM is less prone to rubbing anything than my 987 Boxter S RS-60 was.

My C2S was ordered without the PASM. I'm having the TechArt springs installed which lowers it 20mm. More in line with what the car needs. I have the TechArt Type I front spoiler, but after some careful measurements, I don't believe it'll create a problem. Only slow over speed bumps, not that much front overhang.

Get the sports pasm, it's 10mm lower, which has not been a problem for me at all. I had a Boxster Spyder that grounded in many places, my 991C4S almost never grounds (unless a driveway is really steep). But you also get a front spoiler lip which I think looks good and the rear spoiler extends at a different angle. These would be though to replicate in the aftermarket. This is a cheap add-on and really only people who are never going to driving the car aggressively should avoid it...

I have a 991 C4S with SPASM. I recently drove a 991 C4S with PASM and the car felt floaty. The lower ride height and stiffer suspension make the car feel much more hunkered down in the corners. Go for it. No regrets. Good value.

I have it on my c4s and it's great...both form and function.

Great looking 991! Makes me even more anxious for my GT Silver C2S... on the boat heading to the Panama Canal!!
I ordered mine with Sport PASM, I also had no cars to compare with, however I had a TC Kline track/street suspension setup on my M3 I had previously so I figured it would be comparable and I would also enjoy the aesthetics of the drop.

Too bad SPASM is only available on the coupe, or I would have spec'd it in on my cabriolet build.
