Default Fabspeed Intake

I'm fairly certain I'm going to order the AWE Switchpath Exhaust. I was thinking I would replace the air filters with BMC. It would make the exhaust install even easier if I took the rear bumper cover off the car. I stumbled upon the Fabspeed Intake. Install seems like it's straight forward. Why haven't I seen anyone buy this on the forum? Am I missing something?

I looked at it, but too many warranty issues come into play. The exhaust is pretty straight forward. Installing the intake? Too many possible issues where Porsche could go back on the intake.

Just my thoughts.

I wonder if it's a bit obnoxious. My friend had one on his 997.2 GT3, and he didn't like it.

I would be careful with the FS Cold Air Intake, as noted in this thread here:

That's exactly what I was hoping to discover before kicking myself for messing with something that doesn't need messed with. I haven't been around long enough to catch that thread. Thank you!

I hear that. I need to get off the forums. The plan was to get X51 so I wouldn't start modifying a car that doesn't particularly need modified.

You need to re-read your own words when you start getting that urge.

Reading the above brings this to mind
Save gas and get more power by obstructing intake with the TURBONATOR

Agreed. And we've seen some folks getting a CEL running intakes. Not worth the hassle.

Remember, if you are south of the equator, you will need reversed turbonator to spin the air in the opposite direction.
