*Newbie - 2013 CS, Supersprint Muffler
Newbie to the forum:
Does anyone have experience with Supersprint Exhausts for 991? I am considering the upgrade but want to solicit opinions about reputations, quality, etc.
Other choice is Akrapovic Exhaust w wireless valve control

I haven't heard anything wrong with them. Honestly not too much info on the quality yet. If you are interested I carry Supersprint and Fabspeed and can give you a deal. Fabspeed has had an improvement of 41 HP on their exhaust system.

Supersprint has a great reputation. I had one long ago, it was the best aftermarket exhaust I've owned, pricey but good. Please pm me a quote as well, thanks.

Hi uhear. I work at Supersprint so if you need any information let me know.
We haven't got power and torque figure for the 991 because it's not possible to test the RWD Carrera S on our dyno, the MAHA has independent front and back rollers and the front wheels don't turn so the ECU cuts power. We haven't got the chance to get a 4S in-house and test it before and after yet.
On the road the car feels definitely faster.
We planned to make headers and cats but without a development car it wasn't possible.
About the exhaust flap button: if your car has it it'll work. If it doesn't you can retrofit it to any car without purchasing the PSE, you just need the button and the activation in the ECU (around € 200 in Italy). On the Carrera non-S you also need the pressure pump and piping (€ 400 for the whole kit).

Gardus - thanks for the info. I have the PSE and the "muffler button" installed and I am super excited to get this ordered. Prefer your system over the "wireless remote" system. You know what I mean.
I reached out to my supplier, TMS, about 30 mins ago to quote me 247414, 247304 & 334, and 247246 & 446. Please verify this all I need to replicate what you have installed in the youtube video?
I will definitely post up some vid once I have it installed. Im a black 991 coupe.

uhear, what did you end up ordering? I'm looking around at aftermarket exhaust, and these videos really caught my attention. Love the deep deep growl.
I noticed the supersprint website lists two options:
1) Rear x-pipe, two side mufflers and the tailpipes. The resulting sound is meaty and sporty, but still usable every day if you choose the "road" mufflers, more extreme and aggressive if you pick the "race" mufflers.
2) Valved x-pipe, two-side mufflers, and tailpipes. Fitting the quieter "road" mufflers the sound will be sporty but comfortable when the valves are closed, very aggressive and extreme when open. The exhaust gas follows a very short and direct route, the sound reminds of the 911 RSR race cars, with burble, pops and even flames!
Do we know if the above videos were option 1 or 2, and did they have the "road" or "race" mufflers? I'm guessing the valved x-pipe just means you can control it with the PSE button, does that sound right?

I ordered the Supersprint - 2 week deliver time from Italy where it is made. Should arrive in the next week or so then another few days for install.
I liked the Superspring exhaust because it uses the current PSE button. The other used a wireless remote control button. I will post up once I have it installed, stay tuned...
