I want to add on to that. Is there a set of photos available online where one can compare the width of the C2/C2S vs the C4/C4S and TT/TTS? I know the models gradually become inches wider but I've never (personally) been able to tell.

Fenders on the Turbo are also more squared off. Some like it, some don't.

50th has a wider rear than C2, so that can't be right.

The 991/S is 71.18" wide. 4/S/50th 72.91", Turbo/S 74.02".

I've never seen any good photo's comparing this, the way the camera messes with perspective its pretty hard to do. But in real life the difference is so obvious its not even necessary to see the different cars together.

With the 3D configurator it's very easy to see that both of you are exactly right. It's also easy to do with the configurator because the rotate tool works in whole degrees (at least it seems that way to me, I was able to line things up very easily). Check the attached gif.

Nicely done! That is a great illustration of the rear widths. Thanks!

Yes, the 911_50 is the same as C4/C4S. If Edmunds states otherwise, it is wrong. Thanks for posting this visual comparison -- pretty cool.

Great post with the graphic comparo. IMHO, the turbo is just too wide, but you'd expect that from a guy that can't afford one anyway...
