Can you guys give me you opinion on clear glass tail lights?

Is there a good reason to have them?

Occasionally works. More often than not ugly. Insanely expensive.

They make your car look like a dead animal with creepy lifeless eyes.
Only marginally palatable on white cars.

Do not look good on a white car. Get the clear side markers though.

It was hard for me .. But on my white I think the clears look the best, I had the red's back again but I keept the clears, They look good you should get them

I think you'll find that most of the members here are not fans, but the only way I'd consider clear taillights is with an exterior color that they blend into (like white or silver), rather than contrast with (like darker colors).

To answer your second question - other than personal style, there's no "good reason" to get clear taillights.

I just had them installed on my GT Silver TTS. They call them clear, but they are silver as well, and a nice match with my paint, IMO. Got the clear side makers and 3rd brake light installed as well.

on factory install ducktail (sport design) it's clear....not a fan of the clear tails though.
