GT Silver sitting by Rhodium in soft light

Hard to say given the overcast conditions and lack of white balance correction. After some tweaking I think this is a better representation:
This (mine) is definitely platinum silver:
So my guess is that the OP's salesman was correct in that the 911 on the left is GT Silver.
They're all good, except for Rhodium of course.

Just adding to the examples. This is the last picture I took of my Rhodium '14 981S on trade-in day, sitting next to my GT Silver 991.2 in the garage. I like Rhodium, but prefer GT Silver by a small margin.

I'll confess I can't see much difference between GT Silver and Platinum Silver. My car looks slightly more brown in real life than it does in that photo, and it wouldn't be hard to believe that the 991 on the left (the one 911 Turbo doesn't like) is Platinum instead of GT.
Only the invoice tells the definitive story, and IMO it was hard to justify GT over Platinum given the price premium. I suspect that's why Platinum went away.

As a Platinum silver owner I think the car on the left is platinum. I’m a huge fan of the color since it’s a somewhat unique silver and the metallic effect really pops. It also looks quite different with lighting conditions (more than GT or rhodium IMO). At the end of the day there’s no bad choice but few cars have a silver similar to platinum while a GT-silver like color is offered for pretty much every other car on the market.

Not next to a GT Silver but I really thought the lighting highlighted the lines of my Rhodium Silver car. Also, the car is literally covered in dust and rubber marks from the track. I told myself I would never buy another silver vehicle but boy this car still shines when it is dirty!

Rhodium changes under different lighting so that I’ve not recognized my own car sometimes. Zero swirls in the paint however I’ve only used spray wax. It does wash out under bright overhead sun.

Thanks to all. Love these real world comparisons. Never cared about color until I bought a blue 991 (club Blau).

Too funny…I took that photo and posted it when I was at Panorama. Took an extra set of eyes to get the cars that close for a horizontal pic, but it felt like too good an opportunity to miss…
